Water Station
Sophia University recently installed three water stations on campus to reduce plastic waste and increase equitable access to clean drinking water.
One water station is located on the first floor of the Central Library, and two more are located on the first and third floors of Building 2 (see the photos and description below for their precise locations). The water stations serve both room temperature water and cold water, and you can refill your water bottle anytime for free. In addition to the three newly installed water stations, there are several water fountains on campus located outside or in Buildings 8 and 10. By reducing our single-use plastic consumption and carrying our bottles whenever possible, we can contribute to a zero-waste campus and lighten our negative footprint on the environment.
